Not Yet is a short experimental game experience. It centers around the definition of faith and expectations. We wanted to challenge the concept of what a game is and what a player can or should expect from one. What are the boundaries of interactive media, and how far can we push these limits while still calling it a game? What is a game supposed to offer, and what obligations, if any, does a “game” have toward its players? With Not Yet, we wanted explore these questions and step outside the conventional framework of the magic circle. The player is also invited to self-reflect and question their own expectations and definitions of a game. The player is also invited to self reflect and think about their own expectations and definitions of a game and how much faith one has in its developers to deliver those expectations. And yes, the crashes are intentional.
